Florida Theme Park Tips and Ride Rankings

Ride Rankings
- 🥇Rise of the Resistance (Hollywood Studios): Ride at rope drop (early park admission if possible) or mid day.
- 🥈Stardust Racers (Epic Universe): High capacity ride. Ride if wait is below or around 15 minutes (try to ride both sides, and at night)
- 🥉Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind (Epcot): Ride at rope drop or late afternoon.
- Flight of Passage (Animal Kingdom): Ride at rope drop or when the wait drops after the people who waited during rope drop (around 9:30 am).
- Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure (Islands of Adventure): Good luck finding a short wait time unless you have Express. Probably rope drop is best or just before late afternoon.
- Velocicoaster (Islands of Adventure): High capacity ride. Ride if the wait is below or around 30 minutes (at rope drop or early morning).
- Tron Lightcycle Run (Magic Kingdom): Ride when the wait is below 45 minutes. Quite unpredictable but maybe easier during Happily Ever After.
- Hiccup’s Wing Gliders (Epic Universe): Ride at rope drop since people generally go for Battle at the Ministry and Mine Cart Madness first. Wait times drop a lot in the evening too.
- Monster’s Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment (Epic Universe): High capacity ride. Ride whenever it’s a walk on (i.e. 10 minute wait).
- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway (Hollywood Studios): Ride when the wait is below 30 minutes (usually into the evening before Fantasmic)
- Test Track (Epcot): Since the ride is still new, wait times are up. Should go down soon. Ride when the wait is below 30 minutes.
- Hollywood Tower Hotel Tower of Terror (Hollywood Studios): Ride in the afternoon when wait times are around 30 minutes.
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure (Magic Kingdom): Ride with a poncho when the wait is below 30 minutes in the afternoon or before Happily Ever After.

- Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts (Universal Studios Orlando): Ride when the wait is below 25 minutes. Varies throughout the day.

Some Theme Park Tips
- Staying at a Disney World Hotel? Parking is free and if you have a rental car, you can use that to park at any Disney park for free for the duration of you stay (check in to check out days).
- Attending Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party? Go for the second parade instead of the first. Much less crowds, better view, and less chaos overall.
- Rope Dropping Epic Universe (no early park)? Go to Isle of Berk. Early admission guests will likely be done with Super Nintendo world and go straight to Battle at the Ministry whereas those that just arrived would go straight to Super Nintendo. Meeting Toothless is the priority if that’s on your list. Then, go straight to Hiccup’s Wing Gliders.
- Super long waits at Epic Universe? Wait until the night where wait times drop, especially for Isle of Berk and Super Nintendo World. Catch a nighttime ride on Stardust Racers with a low wait if you start queuing 10 minutes before sunset.
